Japanese sake brewer produces cellulosic ethanol
Emerging Technologies, Ethanol, JapanOne of Japan's largest sake manufacturers, Gekkeikan, has announced the development of a new "super yeast" able to produce cellulosic ethanol from non-edible parts of plants, such as paddy straw and chaff.
