NASCAR issues penalites to DEI for Daytona infractions
NASCAR has issued penalties, fines and suspensions to Dale Earnhardt Inc.’s No. 1 Chevrolet team that competes in the Sprint Cup Series, as a result of rules infractions found last week at Daytona International Speedway. Driver Martin Truex Jr.’s car failed to fit NASCAR’s roof template during the event’s opening-day inspection on July 3.
